When the Lagree Fitness Micro launched, we knew the machine would gain a fanbase of its own, but when we learned that many studio owners wanted a more refined, taller, more permanent-style Micro intended for studio-use, we got to work. With the great demand for an increased height for the Micro in mind, the Micro Pro has been designed to receive the Lagree Lift Kit, increasing the overall height of the Micro Pro 16 inches, allowing for an even greater range of Lagree exercises.

The Micro Pro: Suitable for Permanent Home Use
Because the Micro Pro is not nearly as mobile or portable as the Micro, Micro Pro owners wishing to utilize their Micro Pro in the home should place their Micro Pro in a permanent area. While the Micro Pro does not need to be bolted to the ground, its base weight, weighing in at a hefty 103 pounds compared to the 50-pound Micro, makes the Micro Pro more stationary than its predecessor. The Micro Pro is a suitable home machine for users who prefer having a dedicated space for their Lagree machine. Those wishing to purchase a Lagree machine that can easily be moved from place to place or can be stored discreetly should consider the Micro instead.

THE MICRO PRO'S DISTINCT DIFFERENCES
The micro pro’s Carriage and Front Platform
While the Micro Pro’s carriage is the same size as the Micro, the area has been redesigned with the removal of the Ring of Fire in order to expand the padded area of the carriage. Additionally, the front platform remains the same size as its predecessor but includes more padding and half the Ring of Fire with new anchoring points for the hands and feet.
The micro pro comes with cables
Unlike the Micro, the Micro Pro’s base model comes equipped with cables. Purchasing the Micro with Pulley Cables is a comparable price to the Micro Pro’s base model.
Upgrades Only Available for the Micro Pro
The Mini Lift Kit is retro compatible with the Micro Pro but is not designed to fit the Micro. Similarly, Micro Pro owners can upgrade their machine with Tempo Lights as well as the long-awaited Range of Motion lights that will be available for purchase soon.

Because the Micro and Micro Pro are intended for two separate purposes, it is important to evaluate your personal or studio needs before choosing a model. A Lagree Fitness instructor looking to train clients or entire group classes in homes or hotels should select the Micro as this model is much more portable and lighter.
