Amy is the Founder and Owner of Centered in Charleston, WV. After her sister’s suicide in 2001, Amy found movement. It was so healing for her body, mind & spirit that she quit the business of Forensic Economics to open her own studio. She has been teaching movement for 14+ years and has been a teacher trainer for Pilates Academy International in NYC for over 6 years. Amy has a wealth of experience holding Anatomy and Pilates certification courses and truly understands the difference between Lagree and Pilates. Amy is also a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Amy was certified in Lagree Fitness in 2018 and began working for Studio 6 Fitness in Dallas, TX. She opened the first Lagree studio in WV in October of 2018 and moved home full time to WV in 2020. Amy became a Level 2 Advanced Instructor in 2020. She is passionate about proper biomechanics and form and is thrilled to do what she loves best — training instructors.
